Kara Kauk, MS, RDN/LD

Kara Kauk, MS, RDN/LD grew up on a ranch north of Sayre, Oklahoma — 5th generation on the same piece of land — where they raised cattle, wheat, cared for bluestem, and a garden that fed the family. Ranch life wasn't a backdrop. It was the job.

Kara's approach to nutrition is straightforward and science-based, shaped by years of working with real people in real rural settings — long-term care, dialysis, cardiac rehab, clinical nutrition. She's seen the full picture. Her advice fits the life people are actually living.

Her nutrition philosophy is simple: no fuss, no frills, just honest nutrition guidance that meets people where they are.

Things She Loves The smell of rain and fresh-baled hay. When her husband cooks. Early mornings with Jesus. When her son voluntarily gives her a hug. When all the laundry is actually done. The sound of a strikeout or the swish of the net.

“Good nutrition doesn’t need to be complicated. It just needs to work for the life you’re actually living.”
