GROWN

Where Oklahoma’s Agriculture & Nutrition Experts Meet

GROWN is an annual, one-day event created and hosted by registered dietitian and Oklahoma farmer Sheri Glazier, MS, RDN/LD.

Designed for nutrition professionals, educators, and anyone who wants to understand where food really begins, GROWN bridges the space between agriculture and everyday nutrition.

Each year, attendees step beyond the classroom and into the field—meeting producers, touring farms, and experiencing firsthand how food is grown, processed, and shared with communities.

The 2025 program, “Stepping Out of the Elements: Growing Food & Giving Back,” explores how innovation in agriculture—from hydroponics to sustainable pork production—is shaping the future of nutrition and food security.

At its core, GROWN is about connection: between farmers and dietitians, between science and story, and between the food we grow and the people we feed.

Community Impact: GROWN Gives Back

A cornerstone of every GROWN event is GROWN: Gives Back—a partnership with the Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. Together, attendees assemble meal boxes that directly support local families during the holiday season. It’s a reminder that while agriculture continues to innovate, generosity and community remain at the heart of the work.
