I bring you Family Favorite Crockpot Meatloaf.

It is a set it and forget it - no heating up the oven, and you will thank yourself

ps, I use oatmeal & it’s still my preferred dry ingredient over breadcrumbs - I think it is a texture thing?

pps, sometimes - ok, most of the time I don’t measure - it’s that forgiving.

Family Favorite Crockpot Meatloaf

Hearty and delicious, with just a few ingredients, this meatloaf recipe will be family favorite!

Ingredients

Meatloaf
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup oatmeal
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 small onion chopped, or a couple tablespoons dried minced garlic (time saver)
Sauce
  • 1 c. ketchup (or a mix of ketchup and your favorite bbq sauce)
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 T. dried minced onion

Instructions

  1. Mix meat mixture together - get your hands dirty!
  2. Form in to desired shape, or even in to smaller meatballs
  3. Place in slow cooker that has been lined with foil.
  4. Top with sauce. You can do this right from the start, or before serving.
  5. Cook on low for 4-6 hours, or on high for 2-3 hours (or until internal temperature is at least 160 degrees.
